International Business

International Business course prepares students with a strong foundation in global trade, business management, communication, and digital skills required in today’s international marketplace.

Students will study at least eight subjects in this full-time one-year course including International Marketing, Business Management, Economics, and Business Law. The course places strong emphasis on practical skill development through subjects such as Spreadsheets, Database, Word Processing, Accounting, and Business Communication.

Students who complete this one-year Level 5 QQI course can progress to further studies in recognized higher education institutions or pursue careers in international trade, business administration, and global business services.

Course Requirements

• Applicants should have Leaving Certificate or equivalent

• Mature applicants are welcome

• All applicants whose first language is not English will be tested at entry

• All applicants will be interviewed
